Men Burn Calories Faster?
This is one of the benefits of being male. Men burn calories more efficiently than most women. This means, for the same span of time and physical activity, a man will experience a decrease in body weight more than women.

Robert Kushner, MD, director of the Nutrition and Weight Control Clinic, in Chicago said that men can burn calories faster than women because of two reasons.
First, men are usually had more body weight thus burn more calories. Second, men have more fat-burning muscle. Consequently, the basal metabolic rate (the minimum energy requirements) are generally more women 50-10 times lower than the average male.
In the anatomy, men also have an advantage. Men tend to store excess fat around the abdomen, whereas women in the thighs and buttocks area. Some experts believe that cells in abdominal fat is more metabolically active, so he can remove the fat more easily.
However, abdominal fat is closely related to metabolic syndrome diseases that can trigger heart disease, stroke and high blood pressure, compared to fat in the thighs and hips.
Although men naturally have an advantage compared to women, but no one can escape from the slowing of metabolism that will ultimately cause obesity. Therefore you need to keep your metabolism high. The trick? Do sports!
Healthy Diet Foods
In an effort to make weight loss to achieve ideal body weight by calculating the BMI (Body Mass Index) I do a lot of vegetable diet. Breakfast and lunch menu I was a vegetable and other companion menu, but without the rice. At first I thought would not be easy for me to run this kind of diet; not eat rice, seemed to have not eaten. But after trying, not too difficult. Even now I can enjoy breakfast and lunch without rice. Of course, more dinner was delicious, after a day of white rice does not chew, I include a dinner of white rice (of course, not in excessive amounts – for revenge since the day did not eat rice). Several types of vegetables that my favorites were the mainstay healthy diet is
1. Chicory
2. Broccoli
3. Pak choi (mustard meat)
Chicory Why?
The reason I chose chicory as a healthy diet is that chicory nonperishable – could last longer, up to a week stored in the refrigerator. Moreover, the price is relatively cheap chicory; but the nutrient content of factors, chicory contains many vitamins and minerals are useful.
Why broccoli?
Broccoli is a vegetable “super” which is very beneficial for health because the content of phytochemical substances in it. In addition, broccoli is also rich in beta-carotene, vitamin B1 and vitamin C, folate, calcium, iron, and potassium. Broccoli also contains fiber, which is quite high; that we know that fiber helps launch a bowel movement.
